A little about IBCLCs...
IBCLCs are health care professionals who specialize in all areas of lactation - both simple and complex - and are required to
re-certify every 5 years to maintain the most up-to-date and evidence based clinical and ethical practice.
IBCLCs possess the only internationally recognized board certified lactation credential available.
They abide by a Standard of Practice and a Code of Ethics and work within a defined Scope of Practice.
An IBCLC really is the "Gold Standard" in lactation support!
